My faith in Jesus Christ is the Deep Root that keeps me grounded and the Guiding Light of my life.
I’m a cancer survivor 3 times over, and I’m learning to live with chronic pain, trusting God for every moment, in everything. My soul knows that God’s grace is sufficient, and that’s what gives me the strength and courage to keep pressing forward. A well known American author and journalist once said:
The world breaks everyone and afterward many are strong at the broken places.
My broken places have become testimonies of God’s mercy, grace, love, and faithfulness. Day by day, I’m learning that every difficult thing I’ve gone through has meaning and purpose. More importantly, I’m learning to reject the fear that hinders me from living out my God given purpose, and cast off the shame that hides who I am in Christ: beloved, forgiven, redeemed. Queen of Uncommon is an outpouring of my Faith and why I have the Hope that I have…all to the glory of God.
